Beef Steak in Marinade
Description
Beef steak in marinade is a flavorful dish where steak is soaked in red wine and rosemary before grilling or frying to tender perfection.
Ingredients
Instructions
Prepare the Marinade
Combine 1/2 cup of red wine, 1 tablespoon of finely chopped rosemary, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. Mix well.
Tip: For deeper flavor, use a bold red wine like Cabernet Sauvignon.
Marinate the Beef Steak
Place the beef steak in a shallow dish or resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it’s fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Tip: For enhanced tenderness, marinate the steak for up to 4 hours.
Preheat the Grill or Pan
Preheat your grill or frying pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface to prevent sticking.
Tip: Use a high-smoke-point oil like avocado oil for better searing.
Cook the Steak
Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Place it on the preheated grill or pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare or adjust desired doneness.
Tip: Use a meat thermometer; 60°C (140°F) is ideal for medium-rare steak.
Rest the Steak
Remove the steak from the heat and place it on a plate. Cover loosely with foil and let it rest for 5 minutes to redistribute the juices.

Tip: Resting ensures the steak stays juicy and flavorful when sliced.
Serve
Slice the steak against the grain and serve with your favorite sides or garnish with additional rosemary if desired.
Tip: Pair with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a balanced meal.
