Description

Stuffed Baked Lobster Tails are succulent lobster shells filled with a buttery, cheesy breadcrumb mixture, baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. PREPARE THE LOBSTER TAILS

Using kitchen shears, carefully cut along the top shell of each lobster tail down to the tail fin, avoiding cutting through the meat. Gently spread the shell open and use your fingers to loosen the meat from the shell, lifting it slightly while keeping it attached at the base. Rest the meat on top of the shell for presentation. Rinse the lobster tails under cold water and pat them completely dry with a paper towel.

Tip: Work carefully to avoid damaging the delicate lobster meat while ensuring the shell is cut evenly for easy stuffing.
  1. MAKE THE STUFFING MIXTURE

Combine the breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, minced garlic, melted butter, chopped parsley, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated with the butter and the mixture is crumbly but holds together slightly when pressed.

Tip: For extra flavor, toast the breadcrumbs in a dry skillet for 2-3 minutes before mixing.
  1. STUFF THE LOBSTER TAILS

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Spoon the stuffing mixture generously onto the lobster meat, pressing gently to adhere it to the surface. Divide the mixture evenly among the four lobster tails. Place the stuffed tails in a baking dish, ensuring they are upright to prevent the stuffing from spilling.

Tip: Use aluminum foil to create small rings or stands to help keep the lobster tails upright if needed.
  1. BAKE THE LOBSTER TAILS

Place the baking dish in the (preheated) oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and the stuffing is golden brown and crisp. If desired, switch to the broiler for the final 1-2 minutes to enhance the crispiness of the stuffing.

Tip: Avoid overbaking as this can make the lobster meat tough; monitor closely during the final minutes.
  1. SERVE AND GARNISH

Remove the baked lobster tails from the oven and transfer them to serving plates. Garnish with lemon wedges and additional fresh parsley, if desired. Squeeze lemon juice over the lobster just before eating for a burst of brightness.

Tip: Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor. Pair with sides like garlic butter asparagus or a light salad for a complete meal.
