  • 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1/4 cup seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lime (sliced)

  1. PREPARE THE CHICKEN

    Place the chicken breasts on a clean cutting board. Trim any excess fat, then lightly pound the thicker parts to ensure even cooking. Rub the chicken with the seasoning, to coat all sides evenly. Let it rest for 5 minutes to absorb the flavors.

    Tip: Use a meat mallet or rolling pin to gently flatten the chicken for uniform cooking.
  2. HEAT THE PAN

    Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Let the oil warm until it shimmers, about 1-2 minutes. Place the chicken breasts in the pan without crowding. Sear one side for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side, for 4-5 minutes or until fully cooked.

    Tip: Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 75°C for perfectly cooked chicken.
  3. PREPARE THE LIME

    While the chicken cooks, slice the lime into wedges. Once the chicken is done, transfer it to a plate and immediately squeeze fresh lime juice over the top. Reserve a few lime wedges for serving.

    Tip: Adding lime juice while the chicken is hot enhances the flavor and helps lock in moisture.
  4. SERVE

    Arrange the chicken on a serving plate and garnish with extra lime wedges. Serve immediately with your choice of sides like steamed vegetables or rice.
